Artist's Comments

Janne Wirman of the legendary Finnish band, Children of Bodom (that is to say, in their prime before their release of "Trashed, Lost, and Strungout"). Janne is an inspirational keyboardist, hence, I drew him.

I couldn't possibly tell you how many hours I put into this, but I tell you, it was a lot (the drawing, that is). I just slapped the background in with photoshop because I was treachorously bored with working on it. I used a reference, of course, although I'm sure I could have done a nice rendition of him without one. :D

It may not be the best rendition of the reference, but who cares this sure looks a LOT like him! I'm not very fond of that background, sorry:shrug: the drawing is amazing though.

Woah, sorry this is a late, late response!

I didnt draw Alexi because he is banal and everyone loves him. Everyone is always idolizing Alexi. Why not Janne? I like him more, anyways. :)

Did you see the Thrashed, lost and strungout DVD? I really liked the scene in which Janne just wakes up by the ringing of his mobile phone but instead of answering it he just takes another hit of his beer :D
